Interrogation, with a smile (East Timor)
This officer with the Chinese police (volunteering with the Ermera CivPol unit) barged into my prison cell at 3.30 am and wanted to know who I was, what my intentions were, and why I had sweet-talked the local officers into letting me crash at the police station. He let me go after an hour of questioning, and then asked to take a photo of us in the morning.
